If you want to get your weekend started a little early, catch a taxi down to Smith's Point's Wednesday Fish Fry!. Smith's Point, is known as a locals favorite and an adventurous tourists delight. Chefs there use only traditional Bahamian recipes, including the delicious strong rum punch, a sweet potato bread, and of course the mouthwatering fish! All fish is prepared in hut on the beach, directly in front, of you while you wait; from the seasoning stage to the cooking stage. If you are not a fan of a whole fish sitting on your plate while you eat, make sure ask the chef to cut if off (traditionally Bahamians eat their fish whole - head on)! You can watch the sunset from your picnic table, dance with the locals, and soak in the laid-back sounds of Carribean Music
