This signature course is a 1962 Dick Wilson design featuring tropical gardens lining the fairways. The course is built on a ridge on the island, hence it is not the typical flat, island course. The fairways and elevated greens are well-bunkered. Lucayan hosted the 1997 Bahama National Open won by Bob Goalby.
